JOE BAIZA & FELIX GEBHARD – SOLO / DUO / SOLO

Joe Baiza (L.A. / Saccharine Trust, Universal Congress Of) & Felix Gebhard (Berlin / Zahn, Einstürzende Neubauten) play a solo set of composed and/or improvised music each, as well as a duo set to bridge the gap between the solos, making this event a single fluid musical performance.
Joe Baiza is an American guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. Most of Baiza's music touches on a fusion of punk rock and jazz. Eugene Chadbourne cites Baiza as one of the most noteworthy guitarists to emerge from the Southern California punk rock milieu. A founding member of the bands Saccharine Trust and Universal Congress Of, one of his most current projects is The Corsano Baiza Watt Trio with Chris Corsano and Mike Watt.
Felix Gebhard is a musician living in Berlin, playing in numerous groups, guitar in instrumental kraut/noise/rock trio Zahn amongst others. He has been tour keyboard player for Einstürzende Neubauten since 2014.
Baiza and Gebhard have been on several tours together, this is their first joint performance since 2019.
