Terms & Conditions:

By taking part in this event, you acknowledge and confirm that as of the date of the event:

1. You participate in the event at your own risk, and Joe & The Juice New York, LLC, along with its parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, are not liable for any injuries, losses, deaths, or damages resulting from your participation in the run.

2. You acknowledge the obstacles and hazards associated with running through a city environment and running in general.

3. You do not have any medical conditions that could impact or increase your risk of injury or harm from participating in this event.

4. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically fit to participate in the event and that you will not take part against medical advice.

5. If you are pregnant, you will consult with your doctor before participating in this event.

6. You are at least 18 years old.

7. You are not aware of any additional reasons that would prevent you from participating in this event.

8. During the event, photos and videos may be taken of you as you participate, for use by Joe & The Juice New York, LLC, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sponsors, and third-party vendors. In respect of any photos or videos, you assign to Joe & the Juice New York, LLC and its affiliates, all rights, title and interests (or waive in perpetuity, as applicable), including without limitation all copyright, moral rights and performers' rights that you may have arising under the United States Copyright Act, the EU Copyright Directive (as enacted in member states), the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents act 1988 or the Danish Consolidated Act on copyright 2014, all as amended from time to time, or similar rights arising under the laws of any jurisdiction to the extent permitted by the applicable law, and accordingly, Joe & the Juice is the sole and exclusive owner of all right, title, and interest in all copyrights, trademark rights, and any and all other intellectual property rights, worldwide, in the images/videos and the individual components thereof and you shall take no action to challenge or object to the validity of such rights or Joe & the Juice’s ownership or registration thereof.

9. You agree that any photos or videos taken during the event may be used by Joe & The Juice New York, LLC, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sponsors, and third-party vendors without prior notice or compensation, including on social media platforms and in promotional materials.

10. Joe & the Juice New York, LLC acts as the data controller for all photos and videos taken. You agree that Joe & the Juice New York, LLC and all its affiliates may share any photos and videos of you with third party service providers such as our data storage processors and providers or publishers and within the Joe & the Juice entities, who will only process the data under the direct instructions of Joe & the Juice. These data processors may store and use the data outside of the United States of America, such as in the EEA.

11. Joe & The Juice New York, LLC reserves the right to sell and/or profit from the commercial use of any photos and videos taken during the event.

12. You understand that you may request Joe & the Juice to delete any photos or videos taken of you at any time by emailing [email protected], however, subject to certain IP rights outlined above, the request may be denied for the performance of a contract or to protect Joe & the Juice’s legitimate business interests.

13. You agree not to engage in any offensive or inappropriate behavior during the event, including but not limited to intimidation, verbal abuse, physical violence, sexual or physical harassment, and disrespectful behavior.

14. Joe & The Juice and its event organizers reserve the right to stop you from participating in the event at any time, at their sole discretion, if they believe you are engaging in offensive or inappropriate behavior.

15. Joe & The Juice will not be responsible for any losses incurred as a result of the event's cancellation for any reason.

16. Joe & The Juice will not be liable for any damage, loss, or theft of personal belongings left at its premises or otherwise during, before, or after the event.

Info: The run starts at 10 AM on the dot, so please make sure to leave plenty of time for last minute outfit changes, bag drop offs and untied shoelaces. When you arrive, our JOE & THE JUICE team will be ready to check you in with your Eventbrite ticket and hook you up with a wristband and token for that post-run surprise: on the house, of course! We have a bag drop in the store, however, all belongings are left at your own risk (please leave your valuable items at home)!
