About this Event
Returning to work after a break can feel overwhelming. Join us at the library for a free Job Shift workshop to learn how to take the next steps towards employment.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to navigate common challenges like employment gaps, updating your resume, refreshing skills, and restating your job search. Learn how to utilise free library eResources like LinkedIn Learning to help you build skills, boost confidence, and strengthen your job applications.
We’ll cover how to:
- Clarify direction
- Refresh skills
- Update materials
- Apply + network
This program is for anyone re-entering the workforce after caregiving, illness, redundancy, retirement, or a career change.
Cost: Free
Age: 16+
Experience: No previous experience necessary.
Equipment: All materials and equipment will be provided.
Spaces are limited, so bookings are essential.

- Participants must be aged 16+
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
