The Carousel Lounge is the quintessential Austin bar and the party that's gonna happen on June 11th will be the best of all things normal--great live music, a special guest and cake!Jo Ellen and the Box of Chocolates will be bringing her soaring vocals and the Chocolates will be backing her with their strong Southern blues vibe! Kinda like if Adele was backed by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Special Guest Martha Louise, a local comedianne, will be celebrating her birthday and will step up to the mic for a bit. She's got jokes--and cake!

Joined by Dan Burnevik on acoustic guitar, and Tyee Miles on lead guitar, Jo Ellen is also supported with vocals and a fine bass by Jack Flatau and Anthony Scarano on drums.
The Box of Chocolates interpret classics along with Jo Ellen's sassy originals. They are available for private functions and can be seen around the greater Austin, Texas area.
The Carousel Lounge sells beer and wine. BYOB but set-ups can be bought at the bar.
