They are Peaboo, 14, on bass and lead vocals, Mila, 13, is on guitar and vocals, and their drummer is Damian,16. For the members, music is more than just a hobby—it’s a shared outlet, a space where they can express themselves, experiment, and grow together. With a steady stream of original songs, growing support from peers, and a fearless approach to performing, this teenage band is not just a group of kids making noise—they’re a glimpse into the next generation of music makers.

JNX
JNX (pronounced jinx) is a young hard rock band from Mariposa, CA, the gateway to Yosemite National Park. The band is comprised of trio Jonah Dacanay (lead guitar/vocals), Xavier Dacanay (drums), and Roger Dacanay (bass). Influenced by the greats such as Van Halen, Metallica, Green Day, and Pantera, brothers Jonah and Xavier formed the band with the goal of keeping rock and heavy music fresh and alive. With their high energy riffs, shredding guitar solos, and in-your-face rhythms, JNX strives to inspire a new generation of rock fans!
In September 2024, JNX released their debut album "Love, Hate, Apocalypse." The album is filled with the teenage angst of learning to fend for yourself in the chaos of the modern world.
JNX received nominations for "Best New Artist" and "Best Overall Band" of 2024 for the Central Valley Music Awards. In 2022, JNX placed top 10 of 112 bands in a songwriting competition put on by Dirtbag Clothing with their debut single "Red Parade."
JNX has begun rolling out their sophomore album this year starting with the release of their newest single "My Name is Trouble." They plan to tour throughout the year and drop the full record in late summer.
