Craig is a distinguished multi-award-winning pianist, vocalist, composer, arranger, and bandleader. Renowned for his outstanding versatility, Craig seamlessly transitions from commanding the stage in grand concert halls to crafting intimate atmospheres in cozy jazz bars and cabaret rooms. Since moving to London in 2004, he has captivated audiences across the UK, serving as Musical Director for the Rat Pack show in the West End and touring Europe. His extensive repertoire spans classical, jazz, pop, and iconic American standards by legends like George Gershwin and Irving Berlin. Craig's illustrious career includes performances at prestigious venues such as the Savoy, Dorchester, and Claridges Hotels, solidifying his reputation as a premier entertainer.
LEE JONES
Lee is a British jazz guitarist and composer whose unique style melds modern jazz, fusion, blues, avant-garde, and rock influences. A regular performer on the UK jazz scene, Lee has recorded and performed alongside renowned musicians like Mike Stern, Larry Coryell, and Martin Taylor. After graduating from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Jazz in 2007, he has released seven solo albums under the WEA label and completed a PhD in music composition at the University of Salford, Manchester. Now based in Melbourne, Lee is on an extended tour of Australia and is active in music education and research. His latest solo project, ‘A World Away’, was released in late 2023, adding to his impressive body of work.
TONY HICKS
Tony is one of Australia’s most adventurous saxophonists and woodwind artists. His career boasts performances with international stars such as Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder, as well as jazz legends Billy Cobham and Randy Brecker. With a vast experience in over 80 professional musical productions and numerous TV bands and recording projects, Tony is a formidable presence in the jazz scene. His longstanding collaboration with bandleader John Montesante spans four decades, making each performance a special event. Tony's expertise and versatility continue to make him a standout figure in the world of jazz.
They will be joined by the JMQ Jazz Ensemble, featuring hard-hitters Nick Haywood, Ryan Menezes, and John Montesante. (*Don't miss Nick's last one with JMQ before returning to perform in Europe until next year. Let's send him off in style!*)
