You are invited to celebrate JLA's 50 Years of Service to the Arlington community while also commemorating our new home at the Wellspring on Main with an official ribbon cutting!Join us for a walk down memory lane, cake, a special toast and of course, a ribbon cutting including JLA past presidents, Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce, VIPs, and more.
Members of Junior League of Arlington both old and new, local non-profits and organizations, and supporters are all asked to join in this historical moment for the JLA.
HISTORY OF JUNIOR LEAGUE OF ARLINGTON
On October 22, 1975, the Service League of Arlington was founded with 45 charter members. Seven years later, on February 22, 1982, the League was admitted into the Association of Junior Leagues International as the 248th Junior League, leading to the official name change to the Junior League of Arlington by amendment to Articles of Incorporation filed on April 22, 1982.
