Open to Racers from all clubs.
4” Flexi – LMP – Hawk 7
Race Format: Sprint Race, followed by Endurance Race
1st Race will be 2 minute Heats – This will allow the guys not familiar with the track a chance to dial in to it.
Main Race event will be 15 Minute Heats, and the drivers may change at any time if driving as a team.
Winner: Total number of laps over the Two races wins the Racing for the Day.
Motor: JK Products Hawk 7 stamped sealed short can motor. (not 7BB) No modifications except motor case may be notched to clear axle.
Gears: 11/37 or 10/36 ratio using 64 pitch gearing permitted as requested by the track owner.
Bearings: Oilites only – May be soldered or glued to the chassis.
Wheels: Rear: Any 3/32 Commercially available. Tyres may be taped or cleaned with Shellite. No tyre “goo” traction additives permitted on tyres or the track. Must not protrude past body line.
Front Optional: if fitted: Required on a 1/16th axle – Alum. with “O” ring or plastic.
Chassis: Any standard JK Flexi with or without provision for front wheels.
Motor can be screwed or soldered in place. Motor and axle bracing permitted. Soldered floating pin tubes permitted. Motor mounting tabs may be removed. No aluminium parts.
Clearances: Maximum width 85mm. Front clearance - Guide must be spaced to achieve a minimum of front chassis clearance of .5mm. Rear clearance – 1mm.
Body: Any Lexan LMP style Body. (No High Down Force Bodies Permitted)
