In this JJVA Summer Volleyball Camp, the world-class JJVA coaching staff will focus on fundamental skills through game-based drills and daily scrimmages. This camp is open to boys and girls in grades 4 – 12 (ages 11 and up). It is designed for the beginner to intermediate player and will incorporate teamwork and sportsmanship.JJVA Spring Break Volleyball Skills Camp is open to girls ages 10-16. JJVA coaching staff will focus on building fundamental skills, perfecting form and mastering each skill listed below:
Hitting: Footwork, Range and Efficiency
Setting: Footwork, Location, Decision making
Defense: Body Posture, Individual Skill defense, Reading the play
Blocking: Footwork, Eye Work, Hand position, Reading play and hitters
Serving: Accuracy, Speed test, consistency
Passing: Platform, Angles, and Reading the server
Camp Dates: Monday – Thursdays, Weekly Starting June 3rd, 2024 – August 1st, 2024
Camp Hours: Camps are 9 am- 2 pm.
Camp Cost Per Week: $265
*No Camp The week of July 4th
What to Wear: Athletic shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes (No tank tops)
Additional Info: Campers will need to bring their own lunch or they can purchase lunch in advance at the front desk each morning during check-in for $10 and Free Camp T-Shirt
