JIT JAM: The Ultimate Book Fair & Youth Dance Party

ABOUT:

JIT JAM is the ultimate end-of-the-year Youth Dance Party promoting youth literacy and teen entrepreneurship. Picture a free book fair, a trade fair and a work shop that features a talent show, an awards show, a game show and a Celebrity 3 Point Shoot Out. Then, following the reading rally, DJ King Ron "The Two Handed Bandit" will make it a dance party, a holiday party and a birthday bash all in one. Don’t miss this amazing education celebration for kids and families of all ages as we close out 2021 in good health and in great spirits.

JIT JAM is hosted by Dunbar Media in which the decorated educator uses his innovative blend of media, music, and mentorship to motivate students to become positive, productive and progressive professionals. Dunbar delivers hands-on enrichment that implements state of the art equipment and inspires young people to acquire information and skills and even more so, to start businesses of their own. This is another action-packed Treasure Box literacy event that makes real world connections to academic goals and encourages kids to learn to read and/or read to learn. Everyone at JIT JAM will take away reading strategies, resources and a love for learning and earning.

MISSION:

JIT JAM seeks to attract young minds and appeal to their interests, looking to meet them where they are and expose them to a world of options in education and entrepreneurship. Its producers offer an event laced with literacy, fun and laughter that yields long term benefits for kids and other members of the family. We are avid advocates for STEM and our programs routinely incorporate reading and the arts as well. JIT JAM is a sure fire resource that provides information and entertainment and ultimately motivates young people to show and develop an appreciation for academics and business
