With his soaring tenor vocals, the surf inspired tones from his vintage 6-string bass guitar, and his use of 1950’s style effects like plate reverb, tremolo, and slap back delay, Jimmy Touzel has crafted a unique concept for his signature solo country act and debut full length album, Lonesome Lullabies. Early reactions to the album have drawn comparisons to Eddie Arnold, Elliot Smith, and Hank Williams. This show at the Lost Church will be celebrating the May 19th release of Lonesome Lullabies’ first single, You’re Not Easy to Forget.
