Jimmy Griffin brings an intimate evening of songs and stories to Blue Strawberry. With special guest Dave Grelle.
American rock guitarist and vocalist, Jimmy Griffin is a spearhead in the St. Louis music scene. He made big waves in the early nineties ripping with King of the Hill and his more recent original work with The Incurables remains a favorite local draw. Griffin also dominates in tribute with bands such as Celebration Day, Street Fighting Band, Hard Promises and continues to be an integral key to making local legend El Monstero into the spectacular beast and tradition it is today.
Master of keyboard funk and soul, St. Louis composer, Dave Grelle continues to make a splash in live music. When he’s not touring with Jamaican reggae roots band, Culture, he’s holding down parts of the St. Louis music scene with his cast of all-star musicians in Dave Grelle’s Playadors. Dave’s fingers live in the pocket and he has an effortless way of digging up melodies within the keys that are sure to move you.
