Calling all Parrot Heads! Workshop Theatre is ready to Escape to Margaritaville! Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville hits the Workshop Theatre stage May 10-25. No blown out flip flops or tattoos you can’t remember getting – just all your favorite Jimmy Buffett tunes wrapped up in a hilarious musical comedy.
Emmy Award winner Greg Garcia (“My Name is Earl,” “Raising Hope”) and Emmy nominee Mike O’Malley (“Survivor’s Remorse,” “Shameless”) created the story for this hilarious, heartwarming musical featuring the most-loved Jimmy Buffett classics, including “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “Margaritaville,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” “Fins,” “Volcano,” and many more.
Director Jessica Fichter, Musical Director Ayush Joshi, and Choreographer Katie Hilliger Page, have put together a talented cast to bring the energy and laughs to the stage.
Tickets for Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville are currently available through Workshop Theatre’s online ticketing system at our.show/margaritaville. If you prefer to order over the phone, the Box Office will open starting May 1 from noon to 5:30 pm. Tickets are also available at the door the night of the show.
We will be honoring Jimmy Buffett the best way we know how – with frozen margaritas and Land Shark beer at concessions!
Put on your resort wear and head down to Cottingham Theatre on the campus of Columbia College (1301 Columbia College Drive) and enjoy some of your favorite Jimmy Buffett songs and a lot of laughs May 10-25! We look forward to seeing you! And Fins up!
