Join us in celebrating the life and music of Jimi Hendrix on what would have been his 80th birthday, Sunday November 27th. Way back in 1966, just before Hendrix took the world by storm and changed the course of music forever, he cut his teeth at Cafe Wha? playing nightly as "Jimmy James and The Blue Flames." Today, Jimi's spirit lives on in our hearts and in the halls of Cafe Wha?. We'll be honoring that spirit with a special tribute lead by world renowned guitarist Marcus Machado featuring Juma Sultan (Jimi Hendrix' very own percussion player), Lez Lemon, and James Biscuit who will be tearing into Hendrix classics and deep cuts from the Experience to the Band of Gypsies.
