Jim Stringer's Celebration of Life

The celebration of my dad's life just wouldn't be complete (but will it ever be complete? Spoiler - no!) without celebrating him in Lawrence, KS.
Please join our family for an afternoon of stories, music, laughter and some tears and we come together to celebrate my dad, Jim Stringer through his music. I will add a few more details as they come but please provide an RSVP so you can be sure to get the updates. Here's what we know as of now:
The afternoon will be filled with music from Daddy's time in Austin as well as live performances by The Stringers, The Novellas, Tide, and a few special guests.
We're going to eat pie! (Daddy's favorite dessert.)
In the meantime, please (Please! Please!) use this space to share photos and stories. We will never get tired of seeing his face and hearing about your experiences with him - even if we're heard them a thousand times.
Additionally, please feel free to share this event. I only have FB connections with a handful of his friends and fans but I know that network runs deep.
