A 2025 inductee into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Lauderdale’s career is nothing short of legendary. With an astonishing catalog that continues to grow, he is set to release his 38th and 39th albums in 2026—Country Super Hits Volume 2 and a new bluegrass collection, The Birds Know—further cementing his place as one of the most prolific and respected artists in the business.
Since his major label debut Planet of Love in 1991, Jim has built a remarkable career as both a performer and an in-demand songwriter on Music Row. His songs have been recorded by some of the biggest names in music, including George Strait, Patty Loveless, George Jones, The Chicks, Old Crow Medicine Show, Lucinda Williams, Charley Crockett, Solomon Burke, and many more.
Lauderdale’s collaborative spirit has led to unforgettable partnerships across genres. Between 2004 and 2013, he co-wrote and recorded six albums with Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter. He has also worked alongside artists such as Buddy Miller, Elvis Costello, Donna the Buffalo, North Mississippi Allstars, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, and bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley.
A two-time Grammy Award winner for Best Bluegrass Album and recipient of the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Jim Lauderdale brings authenticity, warmth, and a deep connection to the roots of American music every time he takes the stage.
Don’t miss this chance to experience a true master songwriter in the intimate, listening-room setting of The Blue Door—where every lyric, every note, and every story shines.
