He has been voted "One of the best independent artists in the Midwest" by Billboard Magazine, is a 2004 Guitar Idol Champion, signed to the Sky Valley Record label in 2023 and has opened for artists such as America, Lucas Nelson, Ann Wilson (Heart), Poi Dog Pondering, Pat Benatar, Muriel Anderson, Credence Clearwater Revisited, and Dire Straits Legacy to name a few.
