At the start of 2020, Jim Clayton was already an award-winning jazz pianist and recording artist who’d performed for audiences around the world. When lockdowns hit, he began live-streaming nightly from his piano, and added vocals to his shows. Within weeks, he had 30,000 followers around the world; the shows were featured by national media and ran for over 600 episodes.
Combine those hundreds of solo shows with his background in radio and with The Second City, and you get an upbeat, interactive, often funny performance, where Jim takes song requests from the audience and shares stories about the songs and from his career.
