About this Event
Welcome to a reading of Jim and Huck - a new play with music by Susan Lambert Hatem.
Ten years after their infamous trip down the Mississippi River, formerly enslaved Jim and a grown-up Huckleberry Finn find themselves out West, setting out on a challenging journey to locate Jim’s lost family, encountering dangers, adventures, and surprising strangers, not the least of which is a young Samuel Clemens.
Come join us on this comic adventure as we explore the power of writers, storytelling, and the lost and co-opted stories of history and America.
