Born and raised in Detroit, guitarist and singer-songwriter Jill Govan brings a fresh perspective to the rich legacy of Motown soul music. Pairing lush vocals with compelling stories and acoustic-driven grooves, the result is an eclectic sound reminiscent of artists like Lauryn Hill, John Legend, and Norah Jones.
