JICC | Yoga in the Gallery

Attend a complimentary in-chair yoga class in the JICC's gallery during lunchtime! To read more about our corresponding exhibition, click 

In conjunction with our Experiencing Tranquility through Japanese Art exhibition, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12:30PM - 1:00PM, we will be offering a complimentary in-chair yoga class led by the JICC's Exhibition Coordinator Atsushi who is also a certified yoga instructor.

Our yoga class will be an invigorating, yet soothing, modified yoga practice to aid the participant in overcoming the stresses of everyday life.

The entire class will be conducted while seated on a chair and you will be led through kriya (a specific sequence of physical and mental changes), mantra, and mudra (hand positions). As you practice yoga while surrounded by calming artwork, we hope that you experience a moment of bliss and tranquility at our culture center!

Walk-ins will be welcome, but since space is limited, pre-registration is highly recommended. Yoga attire is not required, so please come as you are for a rejuvenating work break!
