We are deeply honored to welcome Khensur Kyabje Jhado Rinpoche, our revered heart lineage teacher, for a rare afternoon of teaching and empowerment at Lion’s Roar Dharma Center.

This sacred visit offers both clear instruction on the Buddhist path to awakening and a powerful blessing practice for protection, resilience, and clarity.

In this public teaching, Kyabje Jhado Rinpoche will explain The Three Principal Aspects of the Path, a concise and essential text by Lama Tsongkhapa that presents the complete Buddhist path in three core trainings:

• Renunciation – turning the mind away from suffering and confusion
• Bodhicitta – cultivating compassion and the wish to awaken for the benefit of all beings
• Wisdom – realizing the true nature of reality

This teaching brings together heart practice and insight. It offers practical guidance on how liberation and awakening are cultivated in everyday life.

This teaching is open to all and may be attended either in person or online via Zoom.

Following the teaching, Kyabje Jhado Rinpoche will bestow the White Umbrella (Sitatapatra) Empowerment.

Sitatapatra is a fully enlightened female deity, emanating from the crown of Buddha Shakyamuni. She is revered as a powerful protector whose practice safeguards practitioners from fear, harm, and obstacles—both outer and inner.

Sitatapatra is especially associated with:

• Protection from danger, illness, and spiritual obstacles
• Pacifying harmful forces and disturbances
• Strengthening inner stability, clarity, and courage on the path

Receiving this empowerment establishes a karmic connection to this sacred practice and plants seeds for protection, resilience, and awakening, particularly in turbulent times.
