Nicole Miglis is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer best known as the voice behind indie pop band Hundred Waters.
Her debut solo record Myopia was released in 2024, exploring themes of obsession, love and loss alongside an eclectic array of sounds both organic and digital. Her music has been featured in publications including Pitchfork, Stereogum, Rolling Stone, NPR and The New York Times, and her band Hundred Waters have performed on the David Letterman and Stephen Colbert late night shows, as well as festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo, and the band’s own festival FORM.
From 2022-24 she toured as the lead vocalist for Bonobo’s Fragments world tour, and artist with whom she’s collaborated with, most recently for the 2025 soundtrack of Shinichirō Watanabe’s latest anime series, Lazarus.
Earlier this year, Miglis shared piano reworks of Hundred Waters’s latest album, Communicating. The rework album, Re: Communicating, revisits timeless themes such as communication and the relation between our inner and outer worlds, themes central to Miglis’s work.
Live she performs from her extensive catalogue of songs, connecting her love of electronic and acoustic instrumentation, background in classical piano, and love of synthesizing electronic, classical and ambient sounds into a pop form all her own.
