Experience two crown jewels of musical creation, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Double Violin Concerto, performed by leading baroque artists! Ingrid Matthews, internationally-renowned violinist and former Music Director of the Seattle Baroque Orchestra, joins SMCO for the first time. Distinguished artists in historical performance from across the US will also join the ensemble for this special event, led by violinist Eleanor Legault of Juilliard415, Holland Baroque, and the English Concert.
Program includes selections by J.S. Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Evaristo Felice Dall’Abaco, Francesco Durante, Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, and Philip Heinrich Erlebach.
