CDL Presents Jewels and Timepieces: The World of Art Deco in Jewelry DesignThursday, November 14 | 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Join the Columbia Design League (CDL) for an immersive evening exploring the elegance and allure of Art Deco jewelry and watch design. The evening begins with an exclusive tour of Sylvan’s Jewelers, where guests will discover the bold geometry and craftsmanship of the Art Deco period.
Afterward, stroll across the street to the Columbia Museum of Art for a lecture presented by Sylvan’s owner Arnold Schiffman III, who will share his insights on estate buying and identifying valuable pieces within the Art Deco style.
Following the lecture, explore the French Moderns exhibition on view at the museum, and experience firsthand the artistic legacy that continues to inspire designers today.
