In this introductory level torch soldering class students will learn the basic equipment, safety, and materials for butt soldering sterling silver, copper, and brass. We’ll cover different solder types and temperatures, metal properties and applications for multi operation soldering and the tools/materials necessary to set up a workable soldering station at home. You will creat earrings or a pendant. Perfect for those beginning their jewelry making journey or those just needing a skills refresh.
There is a supply kit fee made payable to the teacher day of class by cash or check. Please come prepared to pay this fee.
All other tools will be available for use.
