Formed in 2001 and hailing from Dingley, Melbourne, Jet were quick to take on the world. Fast forward to 2026 and the four piece boasts 6.5 million album sales globally. Their 2003 debut
album Get Born earned almost 10× Platinum in Australia and Platinum certification in the US and UK. The album featured era-defining singles ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl’, ‘Rollover
DJ’ and ‘Look What You’ve Done’, securing the group six ARIA Awards in 2004. ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl’ and ‘Cold Hard Bitch’ both hit #1 on the US Modern Rock charts, propelling
Jet to the top of festival bills and charts worldwide.
Their followup album Shine On released in 2006 was full to the brim with further classics including ‘Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is’, ‘Bring It On Back’ and ‘Rip It Up’. Shine
On went on to achieve Platinum status in Australia following a slew of international headline shows and an unforgettable Big Day Out run in 2007.
In 2023, 20 years since the release of their debut album, Jet embarked on their first shows in 5 years, treating fans to Get Born in full and re-visiting the nostalgic classics that solidified their
place in rock history. That same year, Jet was inducted into the illustrious ARIA Hall Of Fame.
