Improv 101: Finding the Fun

Looking to try something new, meet great people, or just laugh more? Whether you want to boost your confidence, become a better communicator, relieve stress, or explore your creative side, Improv 101 is a fun and supportive place to start.

This seven-week class is designed for beginners, with no prior experience needed. You will learn the basics of improvisational theater through games, scenes, and group exercises in a welcoming environment where no one is put on the spot.

In this class, you will:

• Play creative and energizing improv games
• Learn core principles like listening, saying yes, and supporting your scene partners
• Build confidence and communication skills
• Get individual feedback to help you grow
• Make real connections (and probably some new friends)
• Enjoy free admission to Jet City Improv shows during your class session

You do not need to be funny, quick, or outgoing to thrive here. Just come as you are and say yes to something new.

Cost: $350 – no Eventbrite fees – includes free student admission to Jet City Improv shows at the Drama Room and West of Lenin during your class session.
