Tradition runs deep when it comes to big music presentations during Christmas in Maryville. And one of the biggest happens on December 14th as the Chancel Choir of 1st Church presents, "Jesus, Lord, at Thy Birth."
Experience the sounds of the season in tunes like "Silent Night" and "In the Bleak Midwinter" and new music like "To Thee My Heart I Offer."
This annual cantata features the voices of the 1st Church Chancel Choir accompanied by strings, woodwinds, percussion and harp.
You can also see the cantata earlier at 10:30 am during the Traditional Worship Service which will be recorded for airing later on WVLT & WBXX TV. The recorded version will be shown on WBXX-20 on Christmas Eve at 6:00 pm and on WVLT-8 on Christmas Day at 9:00 am.
