This weekend, Marquette University High School will host the annual four-team Jesuit High School Soccer Classic, a tradition that has combined athletics, education and fellowship for nearly 30 years.
The Classic started initially as a match between Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, Mo, and Marquette University High School in Milwaukee, and over the years expanded to include Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC and Regis Jesuit from Aurora, Colorado. Each school takes turns hosting, and the event gives students, coaches, and families an opportunity to travel, play four matches, participate in a Mass together, and get to know each other.
