Jessica Spurrell Single Release Show, with Special Guest Rick St. Clair

Come in from the cold for a cozy evening of acoustic folk in celebration of Jessica Spurrell’s new single, The Gentle Hand. Featuring an opening set from Elora-based songwriter Rick St. Clair and accompaniment from percussionist-extraordinaire Jaash Singh. Doors at 7PM, show at 7:30PM!

Drawing from Newfoundland folk roots and contemporary jazz influences, Jessica Spurrell is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter. Since her 2024 debut EP, A Blessing, A Pearl, Jessica has been preparing new music for release, developing her distinct blend of singer-songwriter and through-composed elements with bolder approaches to texture and arrangement. The Gentle Hand is the first of these new originals. Jessica is excited to celebrate her release with a set of original music at Bampot, accompanied by Jaash Singh; a multi award-winning percussionist, specializing in folk music and dance accompaniment.
