Five years after the release of her breakthrough album "Quiet Signs", singer-songwriter Jessica Pratt dives into the studio again. From the first seconds of, it is clear that "Here in the Pitch" is a very different kind of album. The respected Los Angeles-based artist has become one of the most distinctive songwriters of her generation, largely due to the mesmerising sound of her acoustic guitar and vocals: a mystical, elusive mix that leaves a deep impression.
New York singer-songwriter Joanna Sternberg impressed with the release of their second album "I've Got Me", which received rave reviews from press and fans. Their sincerely personal songs are sharp and poignant. Sternberg transforms the despair heard on their debut "Then I Try Some More" (2019) into something more upbeat. With their guitar as a diary, candid lyrics and talent, the singersongwriter leaves no one untouched.
