Jessica Delacruz is excited to help raise funds for the future of the arts in Seminole County as an official performer at the 8th Annual Sanford Porchfest Music Festival on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Come out and spend the day with us as we rock the block at one of 18 historic porches throughout the residential historic district of Sanford, FL hosting more than 70 bands during this FREE, charity-based music festival.

This event is built and run entirely on goodwill, so be sure to support the band and donate to the Sanford Porchfest Scholarship fund. 100% of the proceeds (generated from donations, art sales and merchandise sales) from this event will be reinvested into the community by funding art-based programming and fine art scholarships throughout Seminole County. To date, Sanford Porchfest has funded over $200,000 in scholarships and art programming

Raised in sunny Orlando Florida, Jessica Delacruz is a singer songwriter whose music consists of various styles including R&B, Soul, Rock, and Pop. She studied Classical Music and Opera at University of Central Florida where she was trained to learn vocal technique, sing in different languages, and music theory. The training was rigid and demanding, but she enjoyed the experience, fell in love with classical music, and was able to travel to Italy for the summer to sing and learn more about Italian Opera. After studying in Music at the university, she felt a pull to create music and sing to express her personal emotions. She admires musicians like Lauryn Hill, Marina, Janet Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, and Florence + the Machine for their freedom of expression and their focus on telling their story not only through lyrics and melody, but in the instrumentation as well. She tries to follow their example and is currently working on her Alice in Wonderland themed music. Each song uses famous characters and scenes from the books to tell a story that occurred in her life in a way that is relatable to the audience. In 2019, Jessica Delacruz participated in World Championships of Performing Arts. She became a semi finalist and won numerous medals in Rock, Pop, R&B, Open and Opera categories. She also won a plaque for Best Overall Pop.
