Join Us for an Exquisite Evening of Sweet Fortified and Unfortified Wines!

Are you ready to indulge in the rich and diverse world of sweet and fortified wines? Considered among the most underrated and least understood wines, fortified wines are indeed an extraordinary world to be discovered, a charming and enchanting beverage perfect for a cold windy Friday evening!

We invite you to a special tasting event where you’ll explore a selection of delightful wines, each with its own unique story and flavour profile. The tasting will be led by Victoria.

This will be an evening of surprises and delights as, in addition to the lovely selection made by Victoria, I have raided my own wine cellar to share a couple of treasures with you. It will be a soiree of fortified wines from around the world, including some from Jeremy's favourite holiday visits.

What to expect?

• A Curated Selection: Taste a variety of sweet wines like Muscat, Samos, Moscatel, Jurançon, Aubance, Banyuls & Montbazillac alongside some little treasure like Ice wine!

• Expert Guidance: As usual, Victoria will guide you through the tasting, sharing insights on the history, production methods, and profiles of each wine.

• Engaging Atmosphere: Connect with fellow wine enthusiasts in a relaxed and elegant setting, perfect for both novices and connoisseurs.

The event will take place at the flat of one of our most regular attendees: Dr Niall!

During the evening, there will be a break in which a selection of cheeses & bread will be served.

This will take place on Friday 15th November 2024 at the price of £27.5 per person (+£3.50 for Eventbrite fees). Arrival time 19.15 for start at 19.30.

A quick update on booking process to ease the admin logistic and offer more payment flexibility as requested by participants.

Eventbrite registration will require upfront payment moving forward and now will allow payment by card - if you wish to use that option.

Feel free to email me on [email protected] for tickets if you want to avoid the Eventbrite fee. Payment by bank transfer will still be accepted but bookings will not be confirmed until financial contribution is received.

For our Tasting, 3 weeks’ notice is required to cancel the event. Cancellations with less than three weeks will not be refunded.
