Acclaimed Welsh Baritone Jeremy Huw Williams will be presenting a free program at 4 PM on Sun., Oct. at the Gettysburg chapel of United Lutheran Seminary. Williams is an honored operatic singer and recitalist noted for his verve, drama, and emotional import. Joined by pianist Scott Crowne, his program will include two song cycles by Baltimore composer Garth Brooks (who will be in attendance) as well as a set of Welsh folk song arrangements by Benjamin Britten. Williams will also perform William Bolcom's "Gettysburg: July 1, 1863" at the focal point of that day's battle. An experience not to be missed!
