Jenny Carroll: It's all about the Pier

Jenny Carroll started her artistic journey 21 years ago after the death of her husband, when she had the opportunity to take a year out to explore her creativity. With thanks to Sussex artists and tutors, Diana Stanley and Julian Vilarrubi, she studied life drawing and portrait painting.
After covid, she did a landscape course with Sarah Wimperis in Norfolk, using water-based oils to paint the wide open fens, opening up her world to landscapes, which is where Jenny found her artistic focus.
Worthing is Jenny’s hometown, and she lives near the seafront and has used this as her new enjoyment of landscapes to capture the seafront, especially Worthing Pier. The result is a small collection which contrasts the architecture of the promenade with vivid sea and skyscapes.
Jenny hopes you enjoy her work. Limited edition prints can be produced of all works in various sizes.
