Witness the unique glass expressions by Arizona-based artists Jennifer Caldwell and Jason Chakravarty—partners in both life and creative practice. This exhibition explores collaborative glass creation- utilizing blown, cast, and flameworked glass elements.

Jennifer Caldwell’s sculptural glass work is rooted in contradiction. Through playful forms and imagined objects, she uses humor and imagination to navigate deeper emotional terrain. Inspired by the objects and symbols that shape her world, Caldwell abstracts them—often stripping away their functional roles to highlight their poetic or absurd qualities. Working intuitively with the ever-moving nature of hot glass, her process becomes a deeply personal dialogue between the material and her subconscious, resulting in pieces that are both expressive and enigmatic.

Jason Chakravarty, a mixed media object maker, brings a narrative-driven lens to the exhibition. Known for his innovative use of cast glass and neon, Chakravarty explores themes of identity, communication, and human connection—often through a semi-autobiographical lens. For him, glass is more than a medium; it’s a unique material that captures and manipulates light like no other, creating luminous spaces for storytelling. His recent works reflect on our evolving relationships in an age of social networking, offering meditative, and at times haunting, visual narratives.

Together, Caldwell and Chakravarty’s work reflects a dynamic balance of technical mastery and conceptual depth- showing how creative collaboration can push boundaries in the arts.
