Fourteen-year-old country sensation Brooklyn Summer just released her spirited new single, “Cowboy Killer.” The song , which is nearing an impressive 30k streams, boasts a more mature sound for the teen phenomenon. It is playful and light-hearted yet powerful. Reminiscent of the popular '90s sound with a heavy dose of modern edge flair, the song was featured twice on Radio SoBro's NuMu Friday and added into rotation upon release and also appeared on Center Stage Magazine's Fresh Indie Country playlist and was one of Pop Blitz Magazine's New Music Friday picks. It was co-written with Nashville tunesmiths Bill DiLuigi and Ericca Latzza, and was produced by multi-award-winning session musician and record producer, John Willis/Mount Wills Productions. "Cowboy Killer" is available on all digital and streaming platforms and is already approaching 76k streams. Summer is a superstar in the making. The California native who was born in Morgan Hill (Silicon Valley) and moved to LA in third grade, proves that dynamite comes in small packages and people are taking notice. Although she may be tiny in stature, Summer is quickly becoming known for her BIG voice. The young country-rocker notes artists from Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert, and Pistol Annies, to Adele, Christina Aguilera, and Kelly Clarkson as her biggest musical influences and she takes a little something that she has learned along the way from each of them adding to it her own distinctive style to create something special and unforgettable.
