Jeffrey Martin is an Oregon-based singer-songwriter whose deeply human storytelling and weathered folk sound have earned praise as some of the finest in contemporary Americana. A former high school English teacher, Martin writes with novelistic detail and emotional honesty, crafting songs that explore love, loss, work, and the quiet complexities of everyday life. His acclaimed albums—including One Go Around and Thank God We Left the Garden—have established him as a singular voice in modern folk, with No Depression calling his work "the poetry of America."
