To my friends who live in Jefferson, Cocke, Hamblen, Knox and Greene Counties. The Jefferson County Scottish Rite Club is having their bi-annual BBQ on Saturday August 23rd from 3p-6p. This is a donation only and the meal is pulled pork, choice of bun (Hawaiian bun or no bun, baked beans, Cole slaw and various cobbler. The proceeds are going to purchase new shoes/sneakers and socks to underprivileged Elementary School children in the Jefferson County Elementary Schools.
Last year, this Club gave out close to 450 shoes/sneakers. Come on out, enjoy all of this home cooked food and support a GREAT CAUSE!!!!!
