Saturday Sounds in the Gardens - music in delightful spacesCelebration of the songs of Jeff Lynne.
Since we learned that Jeff , who grew up in next door Shard End, used to play in the Gardens as a youngster we knew we had to celebrate his pop genius.
Expect songs from his main influences and lots of his greatest hits performed by a fine range of local musicians and singers including, we hope, some of his old band mates.
NB this event is entirely outdoors. Chairs will be provided, or bring a blanket.
