Co-presented with the Central Illinois Blues Club, the foundation's first ever benefit concert will also be held on June 14 at Casey's Pub at the KC Club off of West Iles and will feature the incredible JD Simo. Whether playing with the likes of Jack White and Phil Lesh, or serving as musical adviser on the recent blockbuster movie "Elvis," Simo is the rare talent that fuses incredibly raw talent with a humble awareness of his place in the history of the artform. Doors open at 7pm and there will be a suggested donation at the door, with all proceeds going to the foundation.
