We are getting a Cabin at Camp Confidence to room any people who want to help out with the Brainerd Ice Fishing Extravaganza. You can show up Friday night and stay until noon Sunday. This is a very fun event that gives you a great opportunity to get to know the Brainerd Jaycee members better and to see other chapters do projects. PLEASE RSVP on this event so we can get a headcount and prepare for the weekend. If you have any questions, please ask. I hope to see you all there!Staying at the cabin is completely free. There are beds there, but they are naked, so you will want to bring your own pillow and a sleeping bag, or bed linens to sleep on. You will also want to bring a towel and Toiletries to shower. The Ice Fishing Extravaganza is a wonderful day, but you will be outdoors all day. Please bring appropriate winter gear, such as winter coat, snow pants, snow boots, hat, scarves, mittens/gloves, etc. Brainerd does a great job at taking care of volunteers during the event and usually have some hot hands available. You will also want to bring extra socks, and if you have wool socks, those are definitely superior in keeping you warm and from keeping moisture away from your toes.
