Let’s not mince words: This was a bad election cycle, and we’re all entitled to the feelings we’re having right now. Just know that we did everything we could. We raised the money and we knocked the doors. Elections are complicated, as are the reasons people vote the way they do. This isn’t over, though; it’s just a setback. As Kamala Harris said:
“Sometimes the fight takes a while—that doesn’t mean we won’t win.”
We will be processing grief at our third Thursday meeting on November 21st. If that’s something you’d like to do in fellowship, please join us. If not, take care and join us back in January as we set a new agenda for the coming year.
