Join us for dodgeball at the JCC East Bay! Sign-up as a team of five players or individually to compete in this epic showdown.
About this Event

Like the Maccabees, the Jewish rebel warriors, you too have a chance to obtain victory in this teen dodgeball tournament. Teens can register individually or as a team of five for this bracket-style tournament and test their grit, stamina, and warrior-like courage. First time playing dodgeball? No worries! We'll teach you how to play. Winning teams will receive special prizes. Note: we will have a tournament for high schoolers (grades 9-12) and a separate, simultaneous tournament for middle schoolers (grades 6-8).

Registration:

Individual: $7

Teens registered individually will be placed on a mixed team with other individual registrants of similar age.

Team of 5: $36

Teens can register as a team of maximum five athletes of similar age (must be a high schooler if competing in the high school bracket, or a middle schooler if competing in the middle school bracket).

Food Donations: Each athlete is encouraged to bring canned or packaged food to be donated to the Berkeley Food Pantry in partnership with PJ Library's Give Back Campaign. For a full list of suggested items, please click here.

Dinner: A kosher vegetarian dinner is included with vegan and gluten-free options. If there are further dietary restrictions, please contact Brianna Sommer, Director of Youth & Teen Programs: [email protected].
