JCC East Bay Rosh Chodesh Circle

Join us this Rosh Chodesh with the JCC East Bay as we hold a reflective reading and writing workshop, taking on the timely themes of spring and rejuvenation! As we move into the month of Nisan (the Month of Spring) we will also be celebrating our liberation with Passover (the Festival of Freedom) this month.

Led by Gahl Pratt Pardes: a writer from the Negev, a current Stegner Fellow in creative writing at Stanford University, her work has also received recognition and/or support from the Sustainable Arts Foundation, the Henfield Prize for Fiction, the Balch Prize for the Short Story, and others. She previously taught writing and literature at the University of Virginia, from which she also received an MFA in creative writing as a Poe/Faulkner Fellow in fiction and a Manin Fellow in Jewish Studies.
