For Juneteenth, the City of Virginia Beach is hosting JazzTeenth, a large-scale cultural celebration rooted in music, history, and community. It will take place from 11 am to 11 pm on Saturday, June 20, at the 24th Street Stage, 2405 Atlantic Avenue.
Designed as a free, public arts experience, the festival brings together jazz, R&B, spoken word, visual art, education, and small business in a way that honors African American heritage while welcoming the entire community. Produced by G-Man Live, JazzTeenth supports Virginia Beach’s vision of celebrating Black history through the arts while fostering unity, tourism, and cultural pride across the region.
Those who appreciate live instrumentation, soul, and the legacy of Black American music will enjoy the celebration. From jazz enthusiasts to R&B fans, JazzTeenth offers performances that honor the past while celebrating the present, including Keke Wyatt and Vivian Green.
