Louis Armstrong is widely considered one of the most influential figures in the history of jazz music. His rapturous trumpet solos were unprecedented for the time, and his rhythm and vocabulary still inspire many players, both new and experienced alike. His iconic voice and happy-go-lucky charisma launched him to a legendary status, with a career spanning over five decades. With more mainstream hit songs than almost any other artist, his music remains a cherished worldwide treasure.
JazzInToronto’s Songbird series presents Toronto-based trumpeter and vocalist Paul Callander, breathing new life into Louis’s work. Guiding you through Satchmo’s extensive career, Paul will be performing such classic numbers as “West End Blues”, "What a Wonderful World”, “A Kiss to Build a Dream On”, and many more. No need to bring a physical copy of the ticket for entry. Please bring your eventbrite ticket on your phone or provide the name the tickets were purchased under for check-in.

General Admisson seating is on a first come basis.

Presale tickets are available until 2PM the day of the show. Unsold tickets will be able to purchased at the door while supplies last.
