Gip and Lubi the original Leeds jazz/funk/Latin/Dancefloor Jazz DJs are legends of the UK club scene. Since the mid-1980s they have shaped the musical landscape of Leeds and beyond inspiring jazz soul funk and global beats enthusiasts across cities like Liverpool Manchester and London.

Their iconic club nights—Jazz At The Coconut Grove Afro Blue Downbeat Club Afro Latino and Dig Dis—brought dancefloor jazz back into clubs blending DJ sessions with live performances.

From hosting Gilles Peterson Carleen Anderson Weldon Irvine Roy Ayers Jimmy Smith and more to launching Leeds’ vibrant live music scene The Dig Family revolutionized nightlife. Now they're bringing their legendary energy and music to Shiftless Shuffle.
