JAZZ VEGAS ORCHESTRA featuring LANNIE COUNTS at Notoriety

The JAZZ VEGAS ORCHESTRA is Las Vegas' hottest big band with 19 of the area's most celebrated jazz musicians. The most publicly visible asset of JAZZ OUTREACH INITIATIVE, one of the most respected jazz education nonprofits in America, the "JVO" celebrates the uniquely American tradition of jazz through exciting performances of classic, original, and modern works featuring legendary and local composers and arrangers.
LANNIE COUNTS joins the band August 5th! Born in Phoenix Az, Lannie performed with many successful groups there including Island recording artist Joey Navarro and performed as the opening artist for Najee, Keith Sweat, and Kenny G. Lannie moved to Las Vegas in 1990 to further pursue his career in music performance, performing with Tony Tillman, The New Imperials, and joined the cast of Country Fever at the Golden Nugget as part of the gospel choir. He began fronting his own band in the Voodoo Lounge at the Top of the Rio and the Venetian, later going on to sing with such local Las Vegas musical institutions as Sante Fe and the Fat City Horns and the Lon Bronson All Star Band. He has traveled the world with The Las Vegas Tenors, and has performed with Bill Champlain of Chicago Fame.
